Dairy Queen Menu - It Rocks!

When people think of this place, many understandably think of delicious ice-cream and treats.  Many people, however; don’t realize the Dairy Queen menu includes so much more!  Since 1940 when the first store opened up in Joliet, Illinois, they have been putting smiles on people’s faces.  What’s not to love about a great place to take the family out for lunch or dinner where you can get the best frozen treats in town for dessert?  

One misnomer about DQ is that you cannot eat healthy when choosing from the Dairy Queen menu.  This is absolutely not true.  Sure they have mouth watering burgers, chicken sandwiches and hot dogs, but they also have wonderful premium salads and wraps as well.  In fact, when I visit them I usually get the Chicken Wrap which includes tender grilled chicken, fresh lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, and light ranch dressing.  My mouth is watering already!

Something you can pretty much always count on is being able to get your hands on Dairy Queen coupons.  These little suckers allow you save some money when you use them.  I usually have good fortune finding a Dairy Queen coupon online.  I also get them in my Sunday paper or in the mail.  As soon as I get ‘em, they don’t last very long as I usually use them within a couple of days.

If you have never been to any of the  locations that dot the US or have not visited them in a while, you should really go by.  You will be surprised when you check out the outstanding Dairy Queen menu.  I promise you that once you visit them, you will keep finding excuses to visit them as much as you can.

My friends know that the Dairy Queen menu is one of my favorites.  While other people would rather dine on steak and lobster for their birthday, I would rather take a trip to any of the Dairy Queen locations near me.  Whether I am at home, at work, or on vacation, no other restaurant puts a smile on my face. I think it has something to do with my childhood.  I have great memories of my parents taking me to DQ and allowing me to pick anything I wanted from the Dairy Queen menu.  I always felt like a big shot when I went there.  I would always choose the burger and fries and follow it up with a soft serve vanilla cone with sprinkles.  It just didn’t get better than that!

My parents would always seem to find Dairy Queen coupons they would use to buy our treats.  It seemed my dad always had a few in his wallet.  Today, I am no different, except I find mine on the Internet.  I always carry a Dairy Queen coupon with me as chances are that I will end up going there.  I think of it as one more excuse I give myself to pay them a visit.
